  36. A system for Uniform Resource Names (URNs) must be capable
  37. of supporting identifiers from existing widely-used naming
  38. systems.  This document discusses how three major
  39. bibliographic identifiers (the ISBN, ISSN and SICI) can be
  40. supported within the URN framework and the currently
  41. proposed syntax for URNs.

  69. NOTE:    The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
  70.     MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility.  To use this
  71.     feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
  72.     command.  To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
  73.     a MIME-compliant mail reader.  Different MIME-compliant mail readers
  74.     exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
  75.     "multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
  76.     up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
  77.     how to manipulate these messages.
